How to measure · men's jacket

Measure once. Fit with confidence.

Use a soft tape over a fitted T-shirt. Stand naturally, keep the tape level, and ask someone to help with shoulder, sleeve and back measurements.

Shoulder
Measure from the tip of one shoulder, across the back, to the tip of the other shoulder.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level and comfortably relaxed.
Natural waist
Measure around the narrowest part of the torso without pulling the tape tight.
Lower waist
Measure around the body where the jacket hem is expected to sit.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips, above the top of the legs.
Sleeve length
Measure from the shoulder point to the wrist with the arm slightly bent.
Center back length
Measure from the base of the back collar straight down to the desired jacket hem.

Across shoulder
Measure straight across the back from one shoulder point to the other.
Chest or stomach
Measure around whichever is fuller, keeping the tape level and comfortably relaxed.
Natural waist
Measure around the narrowest part of the torso without pulling the tape tight.
Lower waist
Measure around the body where the vest hem is expected to sit.
Center back length
Measure from the base of the back collar straight down to the desired vest hem.
Layering allowance
Measure over the type of shirt or light layer you expect to wear under the vest.

How to measure · unisex leather chaps

Check every point before you ride.

Use a soft tape and measure over the trousers you expect to wear underneath. Compare every point—especially thigh and waist—before choosing a size.

Inseam
Measure from the crotch point straight down to the intended bottom edge.
Waist top belt
Measure the complete top belt from end to end while the chaps lie flat.
Thigh
Measure around the fullest part of the upper thigh over your usual riding trousers.
Bottom opening
Measure the circumference of the lower leg opening at the cuff.
Front rise
Measure from the top belt edge down to the crotch point at the front.
Belt length
Measure the adjustable belt section from its attachment point to the end.
Buckle belt length
Measure from the buckle attachment point to the end of the buckle section.
