Sustainability

Made to last. Honest about the journey.

Sustainability is not a single material or shipping method. For MOTOGRIP GEAR, it means making durable leather products, helping customers choose the right fit, supporting care and repair, and being clear about where we are still improving.

I

Designed for longer use

Our first responsibility is to make products worth keeping. We focus on durable construction, appropriate leather and hardware, clear care guidance, and repair support so suitable pieces can stay in use for longer.

II

Measured production

Standard sizing and made-to-measure options help customers choose more accurately and reduce avoidable remakes. Custom production starts only after measurements, materials and specifications are confirmed.

III

Sea and air shipping

We ship internationally by both sea and air. Sea freight is used where order volume, destination and timing make it practical; air services are used when individual orders or delivery commitments require faster transit. We do not describe either method as impact-free.

Where we are improving

We are improving how we record material, production and shipping information so future updates can be based on measured data rather than broad marketing claims.

We continue to review packaging, production planning and consolidated sea freight where timing allows, while recognising that many individual international orders still require air delivery.

We are also expanding care guidance, repair assessment and replacement support so customers have more options to keep suitable MOTOGRIP pieces in use.

“A responsible leather piece is one made well, chosen carefully, cared for properly and worn for years.”
